Socialism won’t play any better in 2020 than it did in 2016

Bernie Sanders, a presidential loser who couldn’t stop corrupt Hillary Clinton and her ilk from rigging the Democratic Party apparatus against him in 2016, thinks he can make Donald Trump a one-term president.

That’s as farcical as his party’s crazy “Green New Deal,” which in addition to destroying the U.S. economy and millions of jobs wants to abolish cars, cows and airplane travel, among other Big Government dreams only a socialist dictator like Nicolas Maduro could love. Good luck telling 330 million Americans that if elected, far-left Democrats and socialists alike are coming for your car, your burger and ice cream, too, because if climate alarmists do away with those pesky, flatulent cows they say are hurting the ozone, that means all milk and dairy products disappear, too.

Hold the presidential election today — Trump wins in a landslide.

He won’t even have to tout his administration’s laudable achievements including stewarding a robust economy, higher wages or historically low unemployment for all Americans, including minorities. Nor would he have to boast about the 5.3 million new jobs his administration created the past two years — 58 percent of which are occupied by women.

It’s bizarre that socialists like Sanders and other far-left Democrats running for president today are trying to entice voters with a promise of a federal jobs guarantee when under the current capitalist president, there’s now 7.3 million unfilled jobs available for the taking. Who needs a taxpayer-funded job from Socialist Big Government when the private capitalist system we have in place has more jobs available than workers?

It just doesn’t fly.

And when it comes to social justice, the Trump administration has passed once-in-a-generation prison reform which will now give lighter sentences to non-violent drug offenders, disproportionately affecting the black community. But none of that stopped Sanders from calling Trump “the most dangerous president in modern American history” during his radio announcement Tuesday that he’s entering the 2020 election.

Memo to Sanders: The only group who truly thinks he’s dangerous is the Islamic State, whose deadly caliphate has been 98 percent eviscerated thanks to our commander in chief and the U.S. military he commands. If that’s what socialists deem “dangerous,” all the more reason Americans should give Trump a second term. In addition to Making America Great Again, he’s Making America Safe Again.
